Nominated for 52 Emmys since its 1990 premiere, including 11 for Outstanding Drama Series, Law & Order is one of the most popular television shows in modern day history. With an additional 4 Golden Globe nominations for Best TV Series (Drama), Law & Order is more than a TV show, it’s a lucrative franchise for host network NBC, spawning popular spin-offs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), and (the now cancelled) Law & Order: Trial By Jury (2005). Filmed on location in New York City, the show is the brainchild of creator Dick Wolf, a longtime writer for successful TV series such as Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice. With sixteen successful seasons already on the books, and more on the way, Law & Order remains one of the best drama series available on any network…

Law & Order centers around the New York City criminal justice system, where “the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups – the police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders”. The first half of each one-hour episode is dedicated to the initial revelation of a crime and the police investigation that subsequently takes place. This usually involves interviewing witnesses, following leads, testing evidence, and/or hammering out a confession. Once sufficient evidence has been gathered to charge a suspect, the remainder of the show revolves around the district attorney’s office and their attempts to prosecute the offenders. Oftentimes, the audience will be witness to unexpected plot twists, unorthodox media-driven cases, or last minute, Perry Mason-like confessions or brokered deals. Given its long TV run, the cast of Law & Order has frequently changed over the years – with only a handful of characters experiencing lengthy runs, characters such as Det. Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach), Lt. Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson), and EADA John “Jack” McCoy (Sam Waterston)…

The Law & Order DVD features a number of dramatic episodes including the series premiere “Prescription for Death” in which a young woman turns up dead following a late-night visit to the emergency room. When her father claims negligence on behalf of the hospital, his accusations lead to an in-depth investigation that prompts detectives to believe that the attending physician was drunk at the time of treatment… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Poison Ivy” in which the police shooting (and subsequent cover-up) of a black honors student amplifies the city’s racial tensions, and “The Serpent’s Tooth” in which two brothers become the prime suspects in the murder of their wealthy parents…

Nominated for 18 Gemini Awards (which honor the English language achievements of Canadian television), La Femme Nikita established itself as a stalwart on the USA Network in the late-1990s. Based on the 1990 motion picture of the same name, La Femme Nikita changed its cast, but not its edgy characters and exciting underworld setting. A forerunner to the successful hit series Alias, the show features all the intrigue of its successor coupled with the fast-paced action of 24. An hour-long action/adventure drama series, La Femme Nikita premiered on the first day of 1997 and quickly built a loyal fan base that followed the series for five stellar seasons before its premature cancellation in Spring 2001…

La Femme Nikita follows the life of Nikita (Peta Wilson), a woman wrongfully convicted of a brutal murder. Sentenced to life in prison, a top-secret government agency known only as Section One sets its sights on the woman it believes to be a ruthless killer. Faking Nikita’s suicide, they usher her out of prison to train and program her into a willing and obedient assassin. But the conspirators at Section One didn’t bank on Nikita’s innocence. Now, they’re stuck with a bloodthirsty felon who’s not as bloodthirsty as they thought. Nevertheless, Nikita (now code-named ‘Josephine’) must carry out the orders of her superiors or else face her own death at the hands of an organization intent on keeping its secrets from the outside world. La Femme Nikita boasts an excellent cast to compliment Nikita’s numerous adventures, among them are Michael Samuelle (Roy Dupuis), Davenport (Lawrence Bayne), Seymour Birkoff (Matthew Ferguson), Walter (Don Francks), and Paul “Operations” Wolfe (Eugene Robert Glazer). Together, they create an intriguing atmosphere of mysterious identities, ruthless assassins, and government conspiracies that is certain to entertain even the most discriminating of viewers…

The La Femme Nikita DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the series premiere “Nikita” in which Nikita, a lone girl living on the streets, is wrongfully convicted of a murder she did not commit. When the government fakes her prison cell suicide, Nikita awakes in the care of Section One, a super secret government entity with the goal of turning Nikita into an anti-terrorist assassin. But Nikita, who is innocent, initially resists the brainwashing techniques before finally submitting to the organization in order to stay alive… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Gray” in which a hacker compromises the employee database of Section One, and “Noise” in which Birkoff’s fear of dying while on a mission threatens to end his career with Section One…

One of the more intriguing television shows of the early-1980s, Knight Rider (and K.I.T.T. in particular) captured the imagination of children everywhere while, at the same time, entertaining adults with its effective utilization of a traditional TV action genre. Knight Rider tells the story of an incredible crime fighting team brought together when the terminally-ill billionaire Wilton Knight saves the life of police officer Michael Long after Long gets shot in the face… When the billionaire helps out, providing Long with a new face and a new identity (Michael Knight), the young officer dedicates the remainder of his life to fighting injustice on behalf of the Foundation of Law and Government (FLAG). Singled out by Wilton Knight and aided by the staff of FLAG, Michael is teamed up with an extraordinary vehicle that, if necessary, is capable of fighting bad guys all by itself…

Knight Rider features David Hasselhoff in the role of Michael Knight, an ex-cop turned private crime fighter. But the true star of the show is Michael’s car, K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand), a sleek black Pontiac Trans-Am impervious to bullets, fire, or most any type of mayhem. Outfitted with state-of-the-art, top secret Artificial Intelligence, K.I.T.T. is not only capable of self-operation (with his mission to protect all human life), but he’s outfitted with smoke bombs, flamethrowers, infrared sensors, and countless other nifty gadgets. Able to verbally communicate with humans, K.I.T.T. maintains a special friendship with Michael, developing his own personality (which at times provides comic relief for the show). Just as criminal outlaws of the early-1980s feared the wrath of The A-Team, the prospect of a visit from Michael and K.I.T.T. certainly caused many sleepless nights for America’s criminal element…

The Knight Rider DVD features a number of action-packed episodes including the season premiere “Knight of the Phoenix” in which the downed police officer Michael Long is revived, after being declared dead, by the billionaire philanthropist Wilton Knight. After agreeing to carry out the proposed task of crime fighter, Michael is introduced to K.I.T.T., a sports car durable as tank, outfitted with the latest technologies, able to travel at speeds in excess of 300 mph, and equipped with a mind of its own… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Good Day at White Rock” in which Michael and K.I.T.T.’s vacation turns into a working vacation when a biker war erupts in the small town of White Rock, and “A Plush Ride” in which Michael goes undercover as a limousine/bodyguard trainee in order to foil an assassination plot with international implications…
The brainchild of Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge (also known for the hit movie Office Space), King of the Hill is a unique animated series in that it doesn’t rely on “cartoon” suspension of reality or outlandish antics. In fact, the show would arguably be just as successful if it were not animated at all. Nevertheless, it’s Mike Judge (voice of Hank Hill) and his unique brand of humor that make King of the Hill a must-see TV series…

Set in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas, King of the Hill follows the life and exploits of Hank Hill and his traditional nuclear family. Hank is a red-state propane salesman who loves beer and apple pie, but he’s constantly inundated with modern liberalism and grapples with the demands of political correctness. Hank is joined by his wife Peggy (a substitute teacher), his son Bobby (an awkward pre-pubescent youth), and a trailer park-like live-in niece named Luanne… Providing added comic relief to the series are Hank’s off-the-wall friends Bill, Boomhauer (who is inaudible), and Dale (who believes everything is a government conspiracy)… Hank’s Laotian neighbor Kahn (whose daughter Bobby is quite fond of) and his family live next door, providing Hank with a continuing dose of culture shock…

The King Of The Hill DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere in which we meet for the first time the various characters involved in Hank Hill’s life in Arlen, Texas. Bobby gets hit in the eye with a baseball, prompting a social worker to launch an investigation into filing possible child abuse charges against Hank. Meanwhile, Hank’s niece Luanne, an aspiring beautician, is forced to move in with Hank and his family after her mother is put in jail for stabbing her father… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Square Peg” in which Peggy is forced to teach sexual education class, and “Hank’s Unmentionable Problem” in which Hank becomes constipated and (much to his chagrin) receives numerous opinions on how to cure it…

The King Of Queens premiered in Fall 1998 as a spin-off series related to the popular sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Based on the life of a bit character from that show, The King Of Queens follows the life of IPS delivery man Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Much like its predecessor, the series makes use of similar marriage humor material as the basis for its premise. Throw in the hilarious Jerry Stiller as the live-in father-in-law, and The King Of Queens is one of the funniest sitcoms currently on the air…

The King of Queens (Season 2) DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere “Queasy Rider” in which Doug buys a motorcycle, clearly violating Carrie’s stated wishes. As part of a plan to get Doug to sell the motorcycle, Carrie takes up smoking, telling Doug that she’ll give up cigarettes when he gives up the bike. But when Doug sells the bike, Carrie’s guilt causes her to buy it back, resulting in some unintended consequences… Other notable episodes from Season 2 include “Parent Trapped” in which Deacon and his wife Kelly ask Doug and Carrie to be the godparents of their newborn (they decline, but then regret doing so), and “Net Prophets” in which Doug and Carrie invest their Christmas bonus in the stock of an online company they know little about…
Many have take the approach of scolding the site owner,Shinji that he should not license the animes.

Most of them comment ” Nothing much more to watch , i will leave crunchyroll ” and some comment “This sucks, where can i watch anime elsewhere”.

Some understand that Shinji, owner of crunchyRoll have to stop viewers to watch the Anime because if he dont do so, he will get sue by many copyright intellectual owner of the anime titles.

At this period of anime chaotic, a group by the name JuzVideo Team had rise and provide anime streaming base on getting sources from veoh, youtube, CrunchyRoll, megavideo, yahoo video.

The owner also mention that this site will be up and running as long there are viewers coming in. The site owner himself love to spend his time at Digital Point Forum, 1 of the key webmaster forum of the net and research on building his site.

Nominated for 7 Golden Globes and 6 Emmys, including Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, Just Shoot Me is among the top cutting-edge situation comedies of the late-1990s and early-2000s. The NBC original series is the brainchild of talented creator Steven Levitan, writer for such celebrated TV shows as Wings (1990), The Larry Sanders Show (1992), and Frasier (1993) – among others. Featuring a multitalented cast with a dearth of experience in the world of show business, Just Shoot Me is one of the funniest and best-written sitcoms of its time…

Just Shoot Me follows the exploits of an eccentric staff of professionals working in the New York offices of the fictional “Blush” magazine (similar to “Cosmo” in real life). The series begins when Maya Gallo (Laura San Giacomo), the only child of Blush magazine owner and editor Jack Gallo (George Segal), gets fired from her job as a serious journalist and picks up as a writer for Blush magazine. Aiming to make the magazine more “cerebral,” Maya is constantly butting heads with her by-the-numbers, give-the-masses-what-they-want father. Maya must also face the incessant sarcasm of Jack’s personal assistant Dennis Finch (David Spade), the constant advances of womanizing photographer Elliott DiMauro (Enrico Colantoni), and the veracious neuroses of ex-model, turned fashion editor Nina Van Horn (Wendie Malick). Together, the strange amalgam of dysfunctional characters forms a charming, witty, and often hilarious setting in which to set the world of fashion on fire…

The Just Shoot Me DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the series premiere “Back Issues” in which a recently unemployed, broke, and quite desperate Maya Gallo seeks employment from the person and company she’d least like to work for – her father at Blush magazine. Now, Maya must not only contend with her estranged father, but with numerous fellow employees who fear that her presence will diminish their own influence and prospects for advancement within the company… Other notable episodes from Seasons 1 & 2 include “Lemon Wacky Hello” in which Jack returns from China with an exotic candy for everyone in the office to try, but they realize much too late that the candy is laced with a hallucinogenic drug, and “The Kiss” in which a harmless kiss, prompted by their pretending to be married, leads to bigger things for Maya and Elliott’s relationship…

One of the hidden gems of 2005, Just Like Heaven was overshadowed by the usual commercial blockbusters and Academy Award nominees. But this cute little film is the very embodiment of the movie going experience. Fitting easily into the “chick flick” genre, Just Like Heaven isn’t a sappy, drawn-out love story filled with clichés and over-the-top dialogue. It’s actually funny and likeable enough to appeal to males as well as females. Mark Waters, director of such films as Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, minted himself a successful film during the casting stage when he picked the perfect combination of onscreen talent to illustrate his story. The chemistry between Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon makes this film a lot more interesting than it would otherwise be with a lesser combination of talent…

Just Like Heaven begins by following the life of Elizabeth Masterson (Reese Witherspoon), a workaholic staff doctor in a San Francisco hospital. Driven to achieve, Masterson excels in her career, but only at the expense of her personal life. Taking on extra shifts in an effort to get promoted, she continually misses lunch and dinner appointments with her sister Abby (Dina Spybey). On the night she gets her long-awaited promotion, Elizabeth is en route to her sister’s house for a dinner party when her car is smashed head-on by a tractor trailer.

Meanwhile, David Abbott (Mark Ruffalo) moves into a new apartment in the aftermath of his wife’s tragic death. Although his best friend Jack (Donal Logue) tells him it’s time to move on, David can’t seem to get over her passing. Late one night as he guzzles beer on the couch, he’s confronted by Elizabeth who is angry to see him camping out in her apartment. Mark insists that the apartment is his, and the two soon discover that Elizabeth is a ghost. As their confrontational relationship grows into friendship, Mark and Elizabeth work together to find out what really happened to her. The result is a series of often hilarious mishaps such as when Mark reluctantly saves a dying man’s life using Elizabeth’s vast medical knowledge.

Searching for some answers to Elizabeth’s strange condition, David visits a bookstore specializing in paranormal occurrences where he meets up with a clerk named Darryl (Jon Heder) who is endowed with unworldly wisdom. Darryl provides a few clues as to the origin and intentions of the spirit haunting Mark and his guidance leads Mark to the discovery of a shocking truth – Elizabeth is still alive. Dependent on life support for the past six months, she hasn’t shown any signs of recovery. Her sister Abby, struggling to make the right decision, comes to the conclusion that Elizabeth would want to have the plug pulled. But Elizabeth, who originally felt she would not want to remain on life support, feels very much alive, and she wants to stay that way. Now, Mark and Elizabeth must work together if she has any chance of survival…

Veteran screenplay writers Peter Tolan and Leslie Dixon collaborate well together in creating a well integrated plotline with interesting dialogue. An unorthodox love story, Just Like Heaven showcases Mark Ruffalo’s growing appeal as a leading man. Much like Tom Hanks, his everyman look exudes a rare charisma on the big screen. Similar to his standout role in 13 Going On 30 (where he stole the show from Jennifer Garner), the film highlights his likeability among both male and female audiences. But the role would be less of a breakout performance if it weren’t for the outstanding chemistry between the actor and his co-star. As she exhibited with her recent Oscar-winning performance, Reese Witherspoon is no slouch herself. Overall, these types of films do little for me, but Just Like Heaven earns my highest recommendation…

A somewhat hilarious and charming romantic comedy, Just Friends explores the innermost depths of the infamous “friend zone” of male/female relationships. Directed by Roger Kumble, the brains behind the widely lauded film Cruel Intentions (1999), the film has a novel premise, and although not the funniest comedy to hit the big screen in the past few years, it does have some really funny moments. Adam ‘Tex’ Davis makes his debut as a screenwriter after extensive work in cinematography and TV writing, and his efforts are above average, but Just Friends is not in the same league as similar themed contemporaries such as There’s Something About Mary (1998) and Meet The Parents (2000). Nevertheless, it’s a film well worth seeing…

Just Friends follows the life of Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds), a formerly obese New Jersey high school student in love with classmate Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart). However, Chris long ago fell into the “friend zone,” and although, he spent much of his adolescence bonding and building memories with Jamie, she never saw him as anything more than a friend. At their 1995 graduation party, Chris vows to reveal his true feelings, but his well-intentioned attempt blows up in his face when a jerk classmate humiliates him in front of his peers. Enraged, Chris vows to leave town and “become somebody”.

Fast forward ten years to 2005, where Chris is a thin, romantically smooth and wealthy record executive living in Los Angeles. He lives in a multi-million dollar house, drives a flashy sports car, and dates a string of beautiful models. Against his wishes, Chris is forced to watch over one of the company’s hottest pop artists, the ditsy and annoying Samantha James (Anna Faris). En route to Paris, their jet becomes grounded in New Jersey, and Chris is left with no alternative but to return home. While there, he’s reminded of his lifelong crush on Jamie. With newfound confidence, Chris sets out to win over Jamie, but in so doing, he doesn’t act like the real Chris, and his actions have the opposite effect. Meanwhile, a rival suitor from high school, a guitar-playing nice guy named Dusty (Chris Klein), enters the picture. His courtship threatens to ruin Chris’s latest pursuit of Jamie, but in the end, the only impediment to Chris’s lifelong dream is himself…

Cut from a formulaic genre, the resolution of Just Friends is rather predictable. But moviegoers don’t watch these types of films for suspense; they only want to laugh. And anyone who enjoyed Ryan Reynolds in National Lampoon’s Van Wilder is going to enjoy his performance in this film as well. Although not as well-written as the aforementioned film, Reynolds helps prop up the script with a well-cast comic persona akin to Owen Wilson and a straight-face delivery that would make Leslie Nielsen jealous. In fact, Just Friends is a good pick for those hoping to just laugh out loud. Two particularly hilarious scenes come to mind, one in which Chris makes an unexpected return to the ice rink after busting his lip, and one in which he receives an unexpected hand-hold while watching The Notebook. The latter is especially hilarious, and Adam Davis deserves extra credit for creating this classic and original scene. In the end, Just Friends will never garner the status of all-time comedy cult classic, but for the present day, it more than fulfills its promise to create laughter.
